In this weblog I am writing about my experiences in learning Chinese. Here you will find some links and tips I've come across.
This week I met some University students who want to be friends with me in order to learn English. They promised they would also help me with my Chinese. As there were a number of them, I was a bit hesitant to give them the number of my mobile phone. Fortunately, I had read in another Chinese learning blog about QQ. Therefore, I asked them for their QQ number, which they were happy to give me. QQ is the Chinese MSN or ICQ. Everybody seems to have it. At least everybody has a number. Of the 8 people who gave me their number, so far only 3 have accepted my request to add them as a QQ friend. The interesting thing about QQ is that there is also a mobile version. So people do not even need a computer in order to chat, they can just use their mobile phone.
